[September 2025] This marks the start of my fifth year in my PhD journey!
[August 2025] I presented two posters at the 13th meeting of ISRII (San Diego, CA).
[June 2025] I attended HCIC (Lake Geneva, WI) as a PhD student!
[May 2025] I attended and presented at CHI 2025, receiving a Honorabl Mention Award on one of the three papers I authored. I also chaired a SIG session to discuss designing mental health technologies with consideration of culture, power, and justice.
[Feb 2025] I was invited to compete as a semi-finalist at the UCI Grad Slam.

[November 2024] The Equity and Action (TEA) special interest group is officially a SIG for ISRII. I will be the co-president for the SIG alongside Dr. Page Anderson and Dr. Terry Fleming.
[August 2024] Several faculty members and PhD students and I flew to Beijing, China to meet with our project partner for the Cyrus Tang Foundation project on college students' mental health.
[July 2024] I visited Copenhagen, Denmark for the first time to present at DIS 2024!
[June 2024] I flew to Limerick, Ireland to present a poster and flash talk at the 12th meeting of ISRII.
[April 2024] I have successfully advanced to PhD candidacy!
